Go-Lacta® studies

Does Go-Lacta® work? Read the studies and make up your own mind.

In this study, doctors compare the amount of milk produced by mothers using malunggay leaves (the only ingredient in Go-Lacta®), metoclopramide (Reglan®) and domperidone. Reglan and Domperidone are drugs; Domperidone is not approved for consumption in the US, whereas Reglan is available by prescription.

The results? Mothers eating Malunggay made more milk than the ones taking Reglan, but less milk than mothers taking Domperidone. That's pretty good for an all-natural product that doesn't have the potential side-effects of Domperidone and Reglan®.

The next study measured the weight and length of babies whose moms were taking malunggay (Go-Lacta®) or a control. Babies of the moms taking Malunggay were substantially larger than the control babies, and the babies whose mom was taking Malunggay twice a day were even bigger.

Maluggay (Go-Lacta®) works, and works even better with the help and support.

"We have found that malunggay [...] capsules do enhance lactation among breastfeeding mothers and there were no reported adverse effects from the study. In addition, public education, personal advice, and friendly support from health workers and counsellors who have special understanding and s!<ills are most effective if they work with Individual mothers, and if they help their colleagues to learn the same skills."
